As i walked into the West-Wind School in Berkeley, California on a cold December 1st day, I was greeted by Team Julaton and a always smiling Ana Julaton holding her IBA Strap she just won. Well respected trainer Rick Noble & Carina Moreno was also in attendance. Bay Area’s own Ana “The Hurricane” Julaton is the fighting pride of the Philippines and is eager to be making her return to American Metal & Iron Fight Night at the Tank this Friday for her 2nd consecutive Main Event where she just last month captured the vacant IBA Female Super Bantamweight Championship when she defeated Kelsey Jeffries (41-10-1, 4 KO’s) of Gilroy by scoring a 10-round majority decision. In Biggers, Julaton will be facing a much more experienced fighter with proven knockout power as Biggers has a 92% K.O. rating and has more than four times the number of professional fights under her belt. Like Julaton, Biggers fought Jeffries in 2007 where she lost a 10-round unanimous decision to Jeffries for the IFBA International Female Boxers Association Featherweight Title. This will be the first time that Julaton and Biggers have fought. Ana will be fighting 10 rounds for the World Boxing Organization’s (WBO) Super Bantamweight World Championship Title. Partial Proceeds of Tickets purchased through the Ana Julaton Link will be donated to the Typhoon Relief Efforts. VISIT
